Cluff explains how BACTELIFE’s approach combines microorganisms, minerals, and other components to improve how plants access water and nutrients. He says farmers using the technology can reduce fertilizer and water use while increasing crop yields, potentially strengthening both farm economics and America’s food security.
The conversation also explores soil biology, plant-microbe relationships, regenerative agriculture, and some striking results Cluff reports from 12,500 acres in Utah—including a 30% reduction in water use, a 77% reduction in fertilizer, and yield increases ranging from roughly 16% to 33%.
