Parents In Idaho Speak Out: Why Did No One Act? – The Whalen Report

Parents allege their young daughter was harmed by other students at Priest River Elementary in 2020, with incidents reportedly occurring multiple times on the playground. After behavioral changes led to a disclosure, the family sought help from a counselor and law enforcement, and a forensic interview supported the child’s account.

Despite this, the parents say the investigation resulted in no charges, citing the children’s ages and lack of evidence. They also raise concerns about limited witness interviews, missing or overwritten video footage, and minimal communication from officials.

The family ultimately withdrew their children from the school and later spoke publicly, claiming the issue was largely ignored by both authorities and the community. They say their goal is to bring awareness and push for better protections to prevent similar incidents from happening to other children.
